Dispatch from the Easter Parade
Creative New Yorkers take over Fifth Avenue every Easter Sunday
My friend Abby and I set out this morning for walk at 11am and when deciding which direction to go, I remembered it was Easter Sunday, which meant Fifth Ave would be popping off.
If you’ve never been to the NYC Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival, it’s a sight not to be missed. Every Easter Sunday, Fifth Ave shuts down between 49th and 57th street, and people gather to show off their Easter attire, especially their handmade bonnets. Abby is visiting from Chicago, so this was the perfect spectacle to show her.
So today, I have some photos for you to celebrate the creativity of New Yorkers on Easter Sunday. Would love to hear which are your faves in the comments!

This woman made a challah bonnet! She told me her name is Stacy Pearl and she’s a chef.

The tulips were in full bloom in the neighborhood today:

Leave a comment and let me know your favorite Easter Parade looks. Until next year!
